Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of RAI Assistant ("the App"), developed and operated by Aerendir Mobile Inc. ("we", "us", "our"). By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

RAI Assistant is an AI-powered personal assistant for Android. The App combines on-device language models with optional cloud services to provide voice conversations, email assistance (via Gmail), SMS and contact lookup, scheduling help, weather and location-aware responses, and adaptive behavior based on user activity. The App requests user permission for each capability before activating it.

3. Account and Access

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and the credentials of any account you connect (including Gmail). You agree not to share your account access or use the App to access accounts you are not authorized to use.

4. Beta Software

The App is currently in beta and distributed outside the Google Play Store, typically pre-installed on Reeder-branded devices. As beta software:

• Features may change, be removed, or behave unexpectedly
• The App may contain bugs or errors
• Service availability is not guaranteed
• We may reset or modify the service at any time during the beta period

5. AI-Generated Output

Responses generated by the App, including voice replies, summaries of your email or messages, and any generated text, are produced by AI models and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or otherwise unsuitable for any particular purpose. You are responsible for verifying any information before relying on it for important decisions. The App is not a substitute for professional advice (medical, legal, financial, or otherwise).

6. Subscriptions and Payments

Certain features require a paid subscription. Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscription terms, pricing, and cancellation policies are displayed within the App. You may cancel your subscription at any time from the App settings.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for sending spam, phishing, or malicious content
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our servers or systems
• Use the App in violation of any applicable laws
• Redistribute the App without written permission
• Use the App to generate content that violates third-party rights or terms (including OpenAI's usage policies for cloud voice features)

8. Intellectual Property

The App, including its code, design, and content, is the intellectual property of Aerendir Mobile Inc. and is protected by copyright and trade secret laws. All rights reserved.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AERENDIR MOBILE INC. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, EMAILS, MESSAGES, OR PROFITS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP OR RELIANCE ON ITS OUTPUT.

The App is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for violation of these Terms. You may stop using the App and uninstall it at any time.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
